Chelsea is made from a blend of human hair and heat-friendly fiber. You can use a dryer or an iron on it. It holds a style, and it forgives you when you're tired.
Hand-finished in our Bayonne studio and fitted to you, not a mannequin. Available in twenty-five shades.
Chelsea is a cranial prosthesis and is often covered by insurance, FSA, or HSA. We handle the paperwork for you.
How the cap is built
Monofilament top. Each strand is individually hand-tied to a fine, breathable base. The hair appears to grow from your own scalp, and you can part it anywhere you like.
Lace front. Runs temple to temple. Strands are hand-tied to a welded monofilament lace that holds up over time, giving you a natural hairline and the freedom to wear the hair back from your face.
Hand-tied sides and back. Soft and flexible through the entire cap, so it moves with you rather than against you.
Polyurethane strip. Holds the cap snug and secure.
Velcro adjustment at the nape. Lets you change the circumference as your head changes — which matters more than most people realize during treatment.
Ear tabs. Velvet-covered with flexible wire stays, so they bend to sit close and comfortable at your temples.
